Goga Kapoor (born Ravinder Kapoor, 1940–2011) was an Indian actor, known for his villainous and gangster roles in over 120 Bollywood films and TV serials, the most famous of which was the role of Kansa in the epic Mahabharata. He began his career in theatre before making his film debut in Jwala (1971) and later appeared in films such as Ek Kunwari Ek Kunwara.
Early life and career
Born in British India, Ravinder Kapoor began his career in theatre in Delhi.
He moved with his family to Mumbai after he lost his job in an export company, where he decided to act in the Bollywood film industry.
